Carmen Morrone Complaints | Realta Equities DST Arbitration Claims

The White Law Group is looking into Carmen Morrone complaints. His BrokerCheck record reportedly shows three pending FINRA arbitration claims filed in January 2026, all involving Realta Equities, Inc. and all alleging a failure of due diligence and disclosure. Here is what is on his record and what your options may be. Investors who lost money may be able to pursue recovery through FINRA arbitration.

Carmen Morrone Complaints at a Glance

Carmen Dean Morrone Jr. (CRD# 1898874) has worked in the securities industry for about 29 years. He has reportedly been registered with Realta Equities, Inc. since May 2022 and works from the firm’s Wantagh, New York branch. BrokerCheck lists four disclosures, with three pending customer disputes from 2026. One is a closed 2003 dispute that was denied.

The Three Pending FINRA Arbitration Claims

Each claim was filed with FINRA in January 2026 and alleges a failure of due diligence and disclosure. BrokerCheck reports the claims as allegations, not findings.

Filed FINRA Docket Investment Claimants Damages Requested
January 12, 2026 26-00068 Alternative investments Multiple $561,303.24
January 16, 2026 26-00078 Delaware statutory trust (DST) Multiple $1,000,000.00
January 29, 2026 26-00210 Delaware statutory trust (DST) Single claimant $237,816.53

Together, the claims seek about $1.8 million. BrokerCheck does not report the dates of the underlying investments or name the specific offerings. It also lists no settlement amounts. Those details may come out as the cases move forward.

What Are DSTs and Why Do Due Diligence Claims Come Up?

A Delaware statutory trust, or DST, lets investors own a share of a commercial property or portfolio of properties. Brokers often pitch them to people who want to defer taxes on a property sale. DSTs are usually illiquid, and investors typically cannot sell their shares when they want to.

A broker must research an investment before recommending it. A broker must also explain the risks in plain terms. A claim that alleges failed due diligence and disclosure says the broker did not do one or both. The White Law Group is currently representing investors in claims involving DST investment losses.

Morrone’s Earlier Disclosure

BrokerCheck also shows a customer dispute from 2003, while Morrone was at CIBC World Markets Corp. The claimant’s guardian alleged that a variable annuity sold in May 2001 was unsuitable. The matter was denied.

Where Morrone Has Worked

Morrone has been registered with 16 firms since 1996. Recent stops include B. Riley Wealth Management (October 2021 to May 2022) and National Securities Corporation (2013 to 2016, and again from July 2020 to May 2022). Earlier firms include Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., Wachovia Securities, Ameriprise Advisor Services, and Royal Alliance Associates. Investors who worked with Morrone at any of these firms may have their own questions about their accounts. The White Law Group has reviewed complaints and regulatory history for B. Riley Wealth and National Securities Corporation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I file a claim to recover money I invested through Carmen Morrone?

Most brokerage account agreements typically contain a pre-dispute arbitration clause, which many retail investors do not know exists. Because of that, investor claims are generally filed and resolved through FINRA arbitration instead of court. Arbitration can still result in a monetary recovery.

What does “failure of due diligence and disclosure” mean, and why does it matter for my investment?

It means a broker allegedly did not research an investment properly, or did not tell the investor about its risks. This matters because investments like DSTs can be hard to sell and can lose value. An investor who did not get the full picture may have bought something that did not fit his or her goals.

Can the brokerage firm be held responsible for my losses?

A brokerage firm may be liable if it failed to supervise its brokers. Firms must have systems to review the products their brokers recommend and to catch problems early. If a firm missed warning signs or approved risky recommendations, it may owe investors for their losses.
