Kristian M. Gaudet – Ameritas Investment Corp. – Cut Off, LA
According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the regulator has reportedly barred former financial advisor Kristian M. Gaudet from associating with any FINRA member at any time.
According to the Letter of Acceptance, Waiver and Consent, during December 2018, Ameritas filed a Uniform Termination Notice for Securities Industry Registration (Form U5) for Gaudet alleging that “Upon conclusion of internal investigation Gaudet was found to have utilized client funds for personal use.”
Subsequently, on January 10, 2019, FINRA staff reportedly sent Gaudet a request for on-the-record testimony. As stated in a letter from his attorney, Gaudet purportedly acknowledged that he received FINRA’s request but that he would not appear for the requested testimony on the date scheduled or at any other time.
By refusing to provide on-the-record testimony as requested, Gaudet has consequently been barred from the securities industry.
According to his FINRA BrokerCheck report, Gaudet was a registered representative with Ameritas Investment Corp. in Cut Off, LA from October 2003 until he was fired in December 2018 for allegedly “using client funds for personal use.”
For FINRA’s full findings see FINRA case # 2018060600901.
