Former UBS Advisor John MacColl Sentenced over Alleged Embezzlement

According to various reports, former UBS Advisor John MacColl, 65, of Rochester Hills, has been sentenced to nine years in prison over his alleged embezzlement of $4,000,000.

The U.S. attorney’s office believes from 2010 to 2018 MacColl persuaded clients to send money to his personal account for investment options not available through UBS.

Reported indicate that when clients asked for documentation MacColl allegedly made false statements.
