Dennis Haywood Ex-Crown Capital Broker Reportedly has 10 Customer Complaints
According to his FINRA BrokerCheck report, former broker Dennis Haywood II (CRD # 5850275) of Land O Lakes Florida has allegedly been named in ten customer complaints since 2020. Haywood was reportedly registered with Crown Capital Securities from 2013 until January 2022. He is currently registered as an investment advisor with PurePath Wealth.
Between 2020 and 2021, 9 of Haywood’s customers reportedly filed complaints for allegations of unsuitable alternative investments such as non-traded REITs, business development companies (BDCs) and variable annuities, according to FINRA. The claims alleged “lack adequate due diligence, negligence and misrepresentations and omissions” regarding the investments. According to the broker’s comments, the first three complaints he felt were suitable for the clients. All 9 complaints reportedly settled, according to FINRA. According to his broker report, Haywood reportedly has one complaint pending from 2022 similarly alleging unsuitable investments. The damage amount requested is $215,000.
