B.C. Ziegler and Company (CRD #61, Chicago, Illinois) submitted a Letter of Acceptance, Waiver and Consent in which the firm was censured and fined $12,500. Without admitting or denying the findings, the firm consented to the described sanctions and to the entry of findings that it failed to report information regarding transactions effected in municipal securities to the Real-time Transaction Reporting System (RTRS) within 15 minutes of trade time to an RTRS Portal. The findings stated that the firm failed to provide documentary evidence that it performed the supervisory reviews set forth in its written supervisory procedures concerning the trade reporting of municipal securities transactions.
