iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Energy Capped is an exchange-traded fund. The investment seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI Emerging Markets Energy 25/50 Index. The underlying index is designed to measure the performance of energy-related companies in emerging market countries. A capping methodology is applied to issuer weights so that no single issuer of a component exceeds 25% of the underlying index weight, and all issuers with weight above 5% do not exceed 50% of the underlying index weight. The fund generally invests at least 80% of its assets in securities of the underlying index or in depositary receipts representing securities in the underlying index.
