Did you invest with former Purshe Kaplan Sterling Investments broker, Scott Valente? If so, The White Law Group may be able to help you recover your investment losses.
Valente’s FINRA BrokerCheck Report indicates he was a registered representative of Purshe Kaplan Sterling Investments and worked with the firm for over a decade from August 1996 until his termination in February 2009. He has 16 customer disputes on his report, many of which involve allegations of misrepresentation, unsuitable investment recommendations and unauthorized trading.
According to The Warwick Advertiser “…the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) permanently expelled him from the broker-dealer industry in 2009 for engaging in serial misconduct against numerous customers.” Valedent made recent headlines for allegedly using his investment advisory firm, ELIV Group, to fraudulently lure unsophisticated investors to invest approximately $8.8 million. On June 3, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed an emergency enforcement action to halt Valente’s alleged fraud.
