According to the Sacramento Business Journal, former financial adviser, Michelle Lee Kern pleaded guilty to fraud. Court documents indicated that between December 2009 and December 2012, Ms. Kern transferred money form client accounts in to her own personal accounts and even into accounts of her relatives.
According to Ms. Kern’s BrokerCheck report, on more than one occasion she was accused of transferring funds from clients to pay her personal credit card accounts. During the relevant time, Ms Kern was working at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.
