Jack Allen Scherbert (CRD #1882576, Sparks, Nevada) recently submitted an AWC in which he was barred from association with any FINRA member firm in any capacity.
Without admitting or denying the findings, Scherbert consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that he refused to appear for FINRA on-the-record testimony regarding its investigation into whether he had improperly made guarantees regarding return of interest and principal to his member firm’s customers in connection with Uniform Investment Trust investments.
For FINRA’s full findings, see Case #2014043217701.
According to Scherbert’s FINRA Broker Report, he was registered with Wells Fargo Investments from 05/2002 – 01/2011 and Wells Fargo Advisors from 06/2011 – 06/2014. His FINRA Broker Report also indicates that he is apparently the subject of at least 20 customer complaints.
