Broker Investigation – Mark Lamendola – World Capital Brokerage

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the regulator has barred financial advisor Mark Lamendola from the securities industry.

According to FINRA’s Letter of Acceptance, Wavier & Consent, Lamendola allegedly made misrepresentations to a customer by reportedly fabricating two letters that purported to come from an annuity company regarding the status of the customer’s deposit. Lamendola also allegedly altered the customer’s complaint letter to conceal that he settled away from his employing firm, World Capital Brokerage, Inc.

According to his FINRA BrokerCheck report, Mark Lamendola was a registered representative with World Capital Brokerage Inc. in Cranberry Township, PA from December 2013 until he was discharged in June 2018 when the firm received information in regards to the alleged violations.

Lamendola has 9 disclosure events listed on his broker report including 6 customer complaints, 2 employment separations and 1 other regulatory event.

For FINRA’s full findings see FINRA Case # 2017055262601.
